At the start of the 2019-2020 NBA season, veteran NBA reporter Sam Amick of the Athletic joins the show to discuss the season that has just commenced.

The show discusses the recent controversy involving China, and the financial ramifications it has and will have on the league.

Plus, Amick discusses the Athletic’s focus on strong journalism, and gives some thoughts on some of the league’s new contenders.
