Jabari Parker and the Bucks took down the Rockets
Jabari Parker was in overdrive during the first half of last night’s game, where the Milwaukee Bucks (21-23) hosted the Houston Rockets (34-14) on Monday night.Parker scored 20 of his 28 points in the first half and his play inspired fellow Buck Antetokounmpo.
“I see my teammate, my brother on the court, my guy, be in attack mode, and I’m like, yeah, this is the night, I’ve got to be in attack mode, too. We’ve got to get this one,” Antetokounmpo said.
Antetokounmpo finished with 31 points, Matthew Dellavedova added 16 and the Bucks snapped their 5-game losing streak.
James Harden led the Rockets with 26 points, 12 assists and fell just shy of his 13th triple-double of the season with 9 rebounds Patrick Beverley added 18 points in the loss, poor defense was the cause with Milwaukee shooting 59% from the field, with 11 threes made.
“We had a really good game last game (at Memphis) defensively, and this game we just let up,” Harden said. “In order to get where we want to go, we have to be consistent on that end of the floor.”
Milwaukee’s hosts the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night while Houston visits the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night as well.
