Danilo Gallinari and the Denver Nuggets are finalizing a two-year, $34 million extension that will keep the sharpshooting forward with the team through the 2017-2018 NBA Season.

The New contract involves a restructuring that includes a $2.5 million increase on the money owed to Gallinari as he enters the final year of his old contract.

Gallinari will make $14 million this season, $15.5 million in 2016-17 and will have a player option worth $16.1 million for the the 2017-2018.

Gallinari has career averages of 14.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.  image
