It gets headlines, sports radio talks about it and a spotlight is shined on both the athlete and the school.
But here’s the thing, it never works out.
It’s too long a wait, people change, school administrations change, everything changes and that’s exactly what’s going on here.
Dylan Moses is a 5-star recruit in the 2017 class who is largely considered to be the class’s number one prospect overall. Â Following the completion of his 8th-grade year, he committed to play college football at LSU.
The 6-2, 220lb running back / linebacker announced today that he’s reopened his recruitment. Â He’s saying that LSU is still the favorite, but that he owes it to himself to fully enjoy this experience.
Moses had 176.5 tackles as a freshman and 152 as a sophomore for University Lab in Baton Rouge, La.
He tweeted this:
This is a once in a lifetime deal and I wanna live this process up to the fullest. Thank you. pic.twitter.com/rgQ19YTORi
