This week’s MLS rumors
The international transfer window is now open, and plenty of rumors about players heading to MLS persist. Here are a few more of them.
Andreas Luthe- The German keeper reportedly has a “lucrative” offer from an MLS club. Luthe has started the last 13 matches for Bundesliga side Augsburg, but his club has brought in a new keeper on loan, meaning that Luthe could be on his way out.
Kevin Quevado- The 21-year-old Peruvian is seemingly on his way to NYCFC from Allianza Lima. Minnesota United were also rumored to be in for the player, but those rumors proved to be false.
Nosa Igiebor- If the name sounds familiar to MLS fans, it’s because the Nigerian international was a Vancouver Whitecaps player for about two months in 2017 before he moved to Cyprus. Now, Minnesota and Colorado are apparently interested in bringing the 28-year-old back to MLS.
Chris Maxwell- The Welsh keeper reportedly has interest from several MLS clubs after he recently lost his starting spot at Championship side Preston North End. The 28-year-old had been the main man in goal for side since 2016.
