Toronto and Seattle meet once more
The forecast calls for snow in Toronto tomorrow, adding to the allure of this already intriguing rematch between two of the best teams in MLS. The Seattle Sounders won last year on penalties, despite failing to register a shot on goal. Toronto meanwhile, recently completed a historic regular season.
Led by Sebastian Giovinco, Victor Vazquez, Jozy Altidore, and Michael Bradley, they earned more points this season than any other team in MLS history. This season, they look to avenge last year’ loss and win their first MLS Cup.
Besides Clint Dempsey (who missed last year’s final) and Victor Rodriquez for Seattle, and Victor Vazquez and Chris Mavinga for Toronto, the Starting XIs should be pretty much the same, so these two teams definitely know each other well. It will certainly be interesting to see who comes out on top in this Clash of the Titans of sorts. Who are you rooting for?
My Prediction: Seattle 2-1 Toronto
