Baseball is a summer sport. The player should face the hot sun, high temperature and expose his talent. During summer, an excess of energy goes to waste when exposed to the hot sun. The high temperature drains away the water content from the body. Excess sweating leads to rapid tiredness. Continuous exposure to heat weather will affect many organ systems. Muscle cramping occurs due to reduced electrolytes in the muscles. Rashes, red skin and dry skin are the results of hot weather. Most of the exciting games are summer games. The players should take necessary precautions to cope up with the heat weather.

Usually, cotton is the best material to wear during the summer season. But the player’s fate would be different. They have to wear the team uniform. If the team uniform is lighter, it would be comfortable. If the uniform is heavy, then the player should wear a light shirt under his uniform. It is mandatory to apply the right sunscreen before exposing to the hot Sun. the sunscreen will protect the skin from harsh rashes, reddening and drying the skin. It is a precaution method.

The hot weather leads to dehydration. The heat absorbs the excess of water from the body making it feel weak. It leads to tiredness, dizziness, vomiting, and headache. The baseball players should drink a lot of liquid items to maintain the water level in the body.  He may intake glucose, healthy drinks to retain energy.

Staying away from caffeinated drinks will also help in hydration. The player should drink plenty of fluids one to two hours before the game. On the field, exposing to the heat, the body sweats more and lose water. So drink water or any fluid like glucose for every ten minutes. Whenever the player finds the time, drink water to keep him hydrated and active.

Whenever the player gets a break, he should rest in a shady place. Sit and take rest in a shady place to make the body stronger in summer. Little breaks will help a lot. It is instructed to the players to have a wet towel with him, and dab on the face, hands, neck, etc. to keep the body temperature down.

The baseball player should balance between hustling and relaxing. It is a game trick in summer. It will make him an efficient player.

If the player feels fatigue, he should come out of the field as quick as possible. Health is wealth. If he is strong, he can play and win. Forcing himself with fatigue in the hot Sun to practice is not good.
