Michael Beasley has been dealt to Milwaukee
First the bad news for the Milwaukee Bucks.
The team announced that they’ll be without star shooting guard Khris Middleton for six months due to a hamstring injury.
Middleton suffered a torn left hamstring and will undergo surgery in the next week.
The 6-8 shooting guard is going into his 5th season with the Bucks. Last year he averaging a team-leading 18.2 points a game and shot nearly 40% from 3-point range while shooting 4.6 threes a game.
His shooting ability provided critical floor spacing for the team.
“We’re obviously disappointed for Khris and our team, but injuries are an unfortunate part of the game,” general manager John Hammond said in a statement. “We’ll rely on our overall roster depth to help us while Khris is out for a significant period of the season.”
In an effort to add a little shooting to the team, the Bucks sent point guard Tyler Ennis to the Houston Rockets for forward Michael Beasley.
Beasley averaged 12.8 points and 4.9 rebounds in 20 games after signing with Houston. He shot 52% from the field in about 18 minutes per game.
