Jayson Tatum isn’t the kind of person who likes to let things linger. The rising senior is widely considered to be one of the 3 best players in the high school senior class, and it looks like he’s ready to pick a school.
The smooth, 6-8, 200lb small forward from Missouri has suggested that he’ll announce his choice within the next couple of weeks.
At this point, Tatum officially has a top 4 (Duke, Kentucky, North Carolina and St. Louis), but the word is that he’s really down to Duke or St. Louis.
One other thing to consider is that Tatum told Sports Illustrated that there’s a strong possibility he’ll be part of a package deal with fellow top 3 senior PF Harry Giles. In the same article, Goles confirmed that playing together in college is absolutely something they talk about.
Not surprisingly, St. Louis isn’t among Giles top schools.
But Duke is.
Odds are Tatum and Giles replace potential 2016 top five pick Brandon Ingram after this season.
