Alex Morgan Scores In A Record 12 Seconds

Alex Morgan and the U.S. Women’s National Team got off to a spectacular start in the 2016 CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying Championship against Costa Rica.

The whistle blew and the U.S. made just three passes were made before Morgan found the back of the net.

The 12-second score was the fastest in CWOQ history, beating recently retired Abby Wambach’s record set from 2012.

The U.S. won the game 5-0 and will play Mexico on Saturday.
