Cowboys CB, Orlando Scandrick, your his ACL in practice Tuesday and will miss the 2015 season.
The 28 year old veteran had been dealing with a sore left knee in training camp and was just starting to feel healthy.
“He said immediately, ‘It’s my ACL. I know it. It’s gone,’”
secondary coach Jerome Henderson said after practice.
Scandrick was slated to man the nickelback role this year and had been the most consistent Dallas CB over the last two years.
In light of the season-ending injury to Scandrick, second-year cornerback Tyler Patmon likely will take over in the slot. Free-agent pickup Corey White also could see time there as well.
