Steve Kerr isn’t the only big-name NBA coach returning to the bench this week, Milwaukee Bucks head coach Jason Kidd is set to resume head coaching duties Tuesday against the Orlando Magic.
While recovering from hip surgery, the 10-time All-Star point guard hasn’t been in the top spot since December 20th, which is one day before undergoing his operation.
He has been with the team part-time since the start of the new year.
“I feel great after surgery and am looking forward to getting back on the sidelines full-time next week. I received a good report from my doctor last week in New York and I am ahead of schedule on my recovery,” Kidd said on his website (JasonKidd.com). “Provided everything continues to go well this week, I plan on being back to my normal duties on Monday.”
The Bucks are 19-25 overall this season and have gone 8-7 under acting coach Joe Prunty.
