The Kansas City Chiefs and sack-artist extraordinaire Justin Houston have agreed to a huge extension that will see the defensive star playing for the Chiefs for another 6 seasons.
The mega-deal is a 6-year, 101 million dollar contract.
Houston will receive 52.5 million in guaranteed money.  That’s more than Texans star J.J. Watt got last year and the only player who received more guaranteed cash was Ndamukong Suh when he received 60 million guaranteed in his contract with the Dolphins.
It’s worth noting that Houston had made just a little more than 3 million dollars TOTAL, in his career to this point.
An absolute terror of a pass rusher, over the last three seasons, Houston has averaged 1 sack per game (43 sacks in 43 games). Â If he continues to play like he did last year, those numbers will only go up and up.
