MLS Transfer Rumor Report

The transfer window may not open until January 1st, but that doesn’t mean that rumors haven’t started circulating. Here are a few.

Scott Brown- The Celtic captain has been linked to both Minnesota United and Sporting KC. The 33-year-old Scottish international would bring valuable experience and leadership to whichever club signs him.

Pablo Perez- The Boca Juniors captain is reportedly considering a move to MLS as he searches for a safer environment, after his club’s bus was attacked by River Plate fans. Several MLS clubs are reportedly interested in the 33-year-old.

German Cano- The Independiente Medellin striker scored 32 goals in all competitions for the Colombian giants this season, and has reportedly caught the eye of Real Salt Lake, who are searching for a good #9. RSLs offer is apparently “sizable”, so we could see the Colombian in Utah by the start of the MLS season.

Jan Kirchhoff- The 27-year-old German midfielder is currently a free agent, but he did trial with Minnesota United towards the end of the MLS season. If all went well, the former Bayern Munich man could end up as a member of the Loons for the 2019 season.
