Andy Polo is set to join Portland
Andy Polo- The Peruvian international is set to join the Portland Timbers, according to Peruvian media. Polo is under contract with Morelias FC in Liga MX, so it would require a transfer fee. Polo would be the 4th Peruvian international to join MLS in the past year, along with Yordy Reyna, Alexander Callens, and Yoshi Yotun.
Adam Lang- The Hungarian international Center back has been linked with the LA Galaxy. Since 2016, Lang has been playing for French club Dijon FCO in Ligue 1. Like Polo and Peru, Lang would be the 4th Hungarian international in MLS, along with Zoltan Steiber, Krizstian Nemeth, and Nemanja Nikolic.
Daniel Chima Chukwu- The 26-year-old Nigerian striker has offers from MLS, and according to Nigerian media, racist fans in Poland may cause him to give the offers a more serious look. Chukwu has also played for clubs in China and Norway.
Stefanos Athanasiadis- The Greek striker has MLS interest, and according to Greek media, he was even in the US last week to finalize the deal. The team is unknown, but Athanasiadis was one of the most prolific scorers in the Greek league before moving to Israel last year, so whoever he ends up with is getting a quality player.
Alejandro Melo- The 21-year-old Argentinian winger reportedly has offers from MLS. MLS clubs continue to scour South American for talent, and Melo may be the next player to join the league.
