Ethan Horvath: 8.5 (Man of the Match)
The Club Brugge keeper kept this one from getting of hand, making several huge saves to hold Italy to one goal.
Shaq Moore: 7
A Right back by trade, the Levante loanee tried his hand at Left back in this one, and was solid, all things considered. He didn’t have much to do for long stretches of the match, but he did what he had to.
Cameron Carter-Vickers: 6
The young center back was caught of of position a couple of times, but made a nice recovery on one occasion, and was physical with the Italian attack.
Aaron Long: 5.5
Was beaten in the air for the match-winner, but that’s more on Lleget for not following his man.
Walker Zimmerman: 6.5
Zimmerman was caught out of position a couple times, but also had a header on target in the first half.
Reggie Cannon: 6.5
The FC Dallas Right back was solid defensively, but added little going forward, and his touch let him down on a couple of occasions.
Kelly Acosta: 7
His passing was fine, and he had some decent set-piece deliveries, though none came to fruition.
Marky Delgado: 5
The Toronto FC midfielder was pretty much the definition of average, which is not what you want at the international level.
Tyler Adams: 6.5
In likely his last USMNT appearance before heading to the Bundesliga, Adams was just OK. The workrate was still there, but the young Adams looked a bit overmatched by a strong Italian midfield.
Christian Pulisic: 6.5
Pulisic had a couple nice moments, but he and Josh Sargent were largely left on an island with little service.
Josh Sargent: 6
Like Pulisic, the Werder Bremen youngster showed flashes, but was largely devoid of quality service.

Wil Trapp (on in 62′): 5
Trapp again looked a bit lost out there, and he Crew midfielder just doesn’t seem to be up the task internationally.
Bobby Wood (on in 62′): 6
Came on for Josh Sargent, and was pretty much dealt the same fate, as the US struggled to get forward.
Jorge Villafana (on in 76′): 5.5
Better than he was against England, but that wasn’t hard.
Sebastian Lletget (on in 83′): 4
Completely lost his mark on the corner, and was at fault for the goal. 10-minute cameos can’t go much worse than that.
Romain Gall (on in 83′): 7
Making his US debut was Malmo attacker Romain Gall, who is on fire for the Swedish giants at the moment. Gall was active in his short appearance, even forcing a save out of Salvatore Sirigu.
